Paralyzed — Freezing Time: Introducing Our Fine Art, Minimalist & Abstract Street Photography eZine

Paralyzed is a monthly eZine for lovers of fine art, minimalist, and abstract street photography. Born from unplanned walks and patient looking, each issue collects quiet, pared-back images that stop time — lines, light, texture, form reduced to essentials.

Issue 01 (Jan 26) set the tone: a curated selection of images from our walks, full camera settings for each shot, and the Fujifilm recipe of the month, Portra 400 v2, that gives digital captures an analogue soul. That issue also introduces a short, accessible bio of William Eggleston — a pioneer of color photography whose attention to everyday detail and vivid palette influences how we see the ordinary transformed into the extraordinary.

Issue 02 (Feb 26) came from harsher weather: grey skies, rain, and wind along the west coast of Europe. Those conditions simplified scenes into reflections, muted tones, and softened shapes. We present 20 favourite frames from February, the Kodak Gold 200 Fujifilm recipe for warm, nostalgic tones, and a spotlight on Garry Winogrand’s energetic, streetwise vision.

What you’ll find in every issue:

  • Minimal, abstract street images that reward slow looking

  • Full technical settings (aperture, shutter, ISO) so you can learn by example

  • Monthly Fujifilm recipe and concise photographer biographies

  • A focus on trending topics, such as the one in issue 02: Is AI killing photography?

How to get it: buy Paralyzed from our Bookstore and view it as an interactive flipbook for a tactile reading experience, or download a PDF to keep and study. Both formats include the complete images, settings, and notes.

Paralyzed is for anyone who shoots or simply loves photography — from those learning manual settings to seasoned image-makers chasing light. Join us: flip the pages, try the recipes, and let one frame hold a little more time.
