BLVD Vol 10 out now

Welcome to BLVD Issue 10.

The seasons are beginning to turn, bringing a subtle shift to the light and the feel of the days. The sun has been shining for most of the time, so we’ve been making the most of every bright moment. But even beneath clear skies, change is in the air: the sun sits lower now, and the longer shadows it casts have been wonderfully fun to play with. They stretch, bend and weave through our frames, adding a fresh sense of shape and drama to familiar scenes.

This issue also gave us the chance to enjoy colour again. After spending time with the graphic possibilities of shadow and contrast, we were excited to bring colour into the mix and see where it could take us. There’s something refreshing about letting a vivid detail, a particular hue or a whole colourful scene lead the way. Together, the shifting light and our colour studies make this issue feel like a little snapshot of the season in transition. Can I ask you something

And we have something especially exciting to share: BLVD’s very first collaboration with a guest photographer. We’re thrilled to welcome Kana, a photographer who can only be described as the Banksy of the photography world. Her distinctive eye and creative spirit bring a new perspective to these pages, and we’re delighted to give you a glimpse of her work.

Issue 10 is a celebration of looking closely: noticing how the light changes, finding play in the shadows, embracing colour and making room for a new voice. We hope these images invite you to pause, explore and see the everyday with fresh eyes.

Thank you for joining us for another issue of BLVD. We’re excited to share what we’ve been making—and even more excited for you to discover Kana’s work.
